Abstract

A wheelchair is a tool that is often used by people who have difficulty walking, due to illness, injury, or disability. So far, we often encounter wheelchairs still using manual controls, so users often have difficulty pushing wheelchairs. This research aims to innovate new so that users do not have difficulty using wheelchairs by controlling smartphone wheelchairs so that users are more comfortable. The components we use are the Power Windod 12 V motor as the ESP32 wheel drive for the microcontroller, the line sensor to read the ultrasonic sensor to detect obstacles and the Blynk application to monitor wheelchair as a whole. the designer for IoT on this wheelchair can transport a large load of 80 kg a distance of 20m and for how to control this wheelchair on the network.
